MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – Elizabeth (Betty) Corry, of Mount Kisco, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 15. She was 82.
Corry was born to Daniel and Anne Hughes in Yonkers. She graduated from Blessed Sacrament Academy, worked for the Edminston, Vaccaro and Galloway law firm and The Contractors Register in Elmsford, and was executive secretary to the vice president of litigation at Ciba-Geigy in Hastings-on-Hudson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent and two sons, John and Douglas. She is survived by her son Brian and his wife, Nan, of Rochester; her daughter, Lisa and her husband, Tom of Morristown, N.J.; her sister, Micki Voehl and her husband, Frank, of Coconut Creek, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, April 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Flynn Memorial Home, 1652 Central Park Ave., Yonkers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 20, at 10 a.m. at St. Denis Church, 470 Van Cortlandt Park Ave., in Yonkers.
Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
