MT. KISCO, N.Y. - Frances Giardina, of Mt. Kisco, died Tuesday, March 26. She was 100.
Giardina was born June 22, 1912, to Diego and Giuseppina Acquista in Canicatti, Sicily, in Italy.
Giardina is survived by her children, Charles (Buddy) Giardina, Rosalie Thorn, and Marie Giardina. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; siblings, Anthony Acquista, Ann Giardina, Rose De Luca and Joe Acquista; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
Calling hours are Monday, April 1, between 4 to 8 p.m. at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, Mt. Kisco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mt. Kisco. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery.
