Frances Rosalie Ward Farrell, 93, Of Mount Kisco

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Frances Rosalie Ward Farrell, a longtime resident of Mount Kisco, died at her home Monday, April 20. She was 93.

She was born in Philadelphia to Bridget Finnerty and Michael J. Ward. She graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School and working for AT&T in the accounting department in Philadelphia and New York.

Farrell was predeceased by her husband James; her sisters, Kathleen, Mary and Theresa; and her brother, Thomas. She is survived by a daughter, Maureen of New York City; a son, James and his wife, Kathleen, of New Jersey, and their children Laura, Matthew and James; a son, Mark, and his wife, Mary, of Mount Kisco, and their daughters, Kristi and Courtney; and a son, Brian of Yonkers; a sister, Peggy Zajack, of Pennsylvania; and a brother, James and his wife, Ana.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, April 22, from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, April 23, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Home, 288 Main St., Mount Kisco.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, April 24, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2 Green St., Mount Kisco.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Farrell's memory to The Fund for John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School, 311 N. 19th St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
