Jane D’Ambrosio, 58, Worked At Northern Westchester Hospital In Mount Kisco

RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Jane Wells D'Ambrosio of Riverdale and Hampton Bays, died Nov. 10. She was 58.

D’Ambrosio was born Aug. 30, 1955, in New York City, James and Joan (O'Connor) Wells. She received a Bachelor of Science from Lehman College and a Masters of Nursing from The College of Mount Saint Vincent.

She began her nursing career at Columbia Presbyterian's pediatric ICU, and later continued her work in pediatrics at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. Most recently, she held the position of director of Informatics at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco where she worked for the past 13 years.

D’Ambrosio is survived by her husband, Paul; mother, Joan; step-father, Alfred Giovannetti of Naples, Fla.; sisters, Joan (George) Maybury of Hawthorne and Carolyn (Robert) Saunders of Fairfield, Conn.; nieces; cousin; and many friends.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 at Riverdale on Hudson, 6110 Riverdale Ave., Bronx, NY 10471. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15 at St. Margaret's of Cortona Church, 452 W. 260th St., Bronx, NY 10471.
