Green was born in Mt. Kisco, in 1928, she graduated from Mt. Kisco High School, where she later worked as secretary to the principal. After marriage she lived in Mt. Kisco until 1985 with her husband, when they moved to Harwich. She was a member and officer of the Harwich Women's Club.
Green is survived by her daughters, Laurie Moose of Poulsbo, Wash., and Amy Green of Concord; two grandchildren; and brother, Charles Hoffman, Jr. of Severna Park, Md.; and sons-in-law, Jeffrey Moose and Kenneth Deutsch.
A memorial service to celebrate Green's life will be held at 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House, 819 Main St., Chatham.
