BREWSTER, N.Y. - Louise Hawley (Teixeira) of Brewster, formerly of Mt. Kisco, died Thursday, Sept. 19. She was 78.
Hawley was born Aug. 11, 1935, in Mt. Kisco, the daughter of Antonio and Marie (Carneiro) Teixeira. She was employed by the Village of Mt. Kisco as a secretary for many years.
Hawley is survived by her sons, Mark Hawley of Goldens Bridge and Matthew (Julie) Hawley of Poughkeepsie; sister, Margaret Teixeira; two grandchildren; and niece and nephew. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Paul Teixeira.
Calling hours are Monday, Sept. 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main St., Mt. Kisco. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2 Green St., Mt. Kisco. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Mt. Kisco.
