MT. KISCO, N.Y. - Margaret M. Amuso, a longtime resident of Mt. Kisco, died Tuesday, Nov. 11. She was 85.
Amuso was born April 22, 1929, in Clifton, N.J., to Thomas and Sarah (Richmond) McNamara. Margaret married Dominic A. Amuso in 1953. She was a founding member of the Alpha Beta Delta Sorority founded in 1946.
Amuso is survived by her children, Barbara (Greg Keefe) McCarthy, Deborah (Michael) Rossillo and Linda (Susan Lombardi) Amuso; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and sister, Marilyn Alban. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Georgina Marinelli; and daughter, Karen (Robert) Amuso-Clifford.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main St., Mount Kisco. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Kisco.
