Dogs Escape Mt. Kisco House Fire; Woodland St. Closed

MT. KISCO, N.Y. — A fire damaged a garage and extended to the first floor of a home on Woodland Street in Mt. Kisco Friday afternoon. 

It took firefighters about five minutes Friday afternoon to put out a fire at 56 Woodland St. in Mt. Kisco.

None of the residents were home and two dogs got out of unharmed. It took firefighters about five minutes to put the fire out at the home at 56 Woodland St.

A neighbor, who is also a firefighter, reported the blaze. 

Woodland Street remained closed at 3 p.m., Friday. Mt. Kisco and Bedford Hills firefighters responded to the fire.
