DWI Arrest, Laptop Theft Top Police Reports In Mount Kisco

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – Among the items topping the Westchester County Police blotter in Mount Kisco were an arrest for driving while intoxicated and the theft of a laptop computer.

On Friday, July 15, police charged a Bronxville man with aggravated driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Kisco Avenue.

David Tonkin, 50, is to appear in Mount Kisco Town Court on Thursday to answer the misdemeanor charge, police said.

On Sunday, July 17, police were told that a laptop computer worth $450 had been stolen from a business on Main Street.

Police said the thief or thieves removed an air conditioner in order to get inside the offices.

The burglary is being investigated by detectives from the General Investigations Unit.

Later that day, police were called to the Stop & Shop on North Bedford Road where an intoxicated customer was causing a disturbance.

The man left the supermarket when employees called the police.
