WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - The New York State Police Department has released the identities of the two men involved in a head-on collision that involved a wrong-way driver on I-684 in Bedford.

According to the police, at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday night, officers were dispatched to the area of Exit 4 when 30-year-old Carmel resident Steven Becerra entered the interstate from the southbound exit ramp and continued driving north in the southbound lanes.

Both men were transported to the Westchester Medical Center for treatment. Duffy suffered non-life threatening injuries, while Becerra remains listed in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation. Keep following Daily Voice for more information on Sunday’s wrong-way interstate collision as it becomes available.
