Lewisboro Man, 31, Faces Multiple Drug-Related Charges

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- New York State Police from the Somers barracks charged a Lewisboro man with multiple drug-related charges after allegedly stealing an acquaintance's vehicle on Sunday, Feb. 8, according to officials.

Troopers were notified by a Purdys woman that Mark H. Hall, 31, had taken her Jeep without her permission. When Hall returned to the area, he allegedly displayed signs of being intoxicated, police said. 

Subsequent investigation found Hall to allegedly be in possession of heroin and hypodermic needles, police said. 

Hall was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic incident, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $1500 bond, police said.
