Troopers were dispatched to the Lukoil Gas and Service Station in Lewisboro for a property damage auto collision. An investigation revealed that Hoye was intoxicated at the time of the crash, state police said.
Hoye was charged with felony DWI when a criminal history revealed that he was convicted of DWI within the last decade. Hoye was also operating a vehicle despite having a revoked driver’s license due to the previous DWI conviction, according to New York State Police.
Hoye supplied police with a positive breath sample that revealed a blood alcohol content of .18%, more than two times the legal limit, according to New York State Police.
