Mount Kisco Man, 28, Charged With Aggravated DWI

BREWSTER, N.Y. -- A Mount Kisco man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated in Brewster on Friday, officials said.

Joel A. Romero-Lopez, 28, was pulled over in Brewster after allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign, police said. 

Romero-Lopez was suspected of being intoxicated and provided a breathalyzer sample that yielded a blood alcohol content of .21 percent, more than twice the legal limit, police said. 

Romero-Lopez was also operating his vehicle with a suspended license due to a previous alcohol-related offense. He was remanded to Putnam County Jail on $1,000 bail, police said.
