Man Caught Stealing Beer From Mount Kisco Rite Aid, Police Say

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. - A 46-year-old man is facing a misdemeanor charge in Mount Kisco after being busted attempting to steal beer from a local Rite Aid.

Westchester County Police arrested Norwalk, Conn., resident Eric Larson shortly before 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, after he allegedly attempted to steal four cans of beer from Rite Aid on South Monger Avenue without paying for them.

After being stopped by employees, Larson was taken into custody behind the store and booked at the Green Street precinct on a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny. He was arraigned and released on $100 bail. Larson is due back in Mount Kisco Justice Court on Aug. 31.
