Mount Kisco Police Investigate Two Gas Station Robberies

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Mount Kisco Police said they are investigating two armed gas station robberies that occurred within minutes of each other on Monday, Dec. 1.

The first armed robbery took place at the BP station located at 120 N. Bedford Road at 5:41 p.m.. The attendant told police a black male standing 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds brandished a gun and demanded money. The attendant gave him some money before the suspect fled on foot, police said. 

The suspect was said to be wearing a black face mask and winter clothing, police said.

The second armed robbery took place less than two miles away at the Shell service station located at 513 Main Street at 6:09 p.m. The suspect also brandished a fire arm, demanded money and fled on foot, police said.

The suspect was described as having a similar build with medium complexion wearing a dark face mask and sunglasses, police said.  

Authorities are still investigating to determine if the two robberies are linked and also if they are related to similar robberies in neighboring towns, police said.
