Mt. Kisco Cops: Man Hit By Bottle Thrown From Car

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – A man was hit on the head by a bottle thrown from a car as he was mowing the grass in front of his house on Monday, July 23, Mount Kisco police reported.

At 3:27 p.m. police received a report from the victim, who told them a bottle flew out of a car and hit him on the back of the head as he was in front of his house on Lexington Avenue.

The man told police that he saw his former landlord in the car, and the landlord made a hand gesture indicating that he was the one who threw the bottle, police said.

The victim told police that he and his former landlord have a history of conflict. Police interviewed the driver, who said that neither he nor the two passengers in his car threw the bottle, police said.

The victim was uninjured and declined medical treatment, police said; he did not press charges.

Drunken Fight: Two Mount Kisco men got into a physical fight over a TV remote on Thursday, July 26, police said. Officers were called to 305 Lexington Ave. at 5:57 p.m., where they found two intoxicated men in front of the home, police said. One, 49, had a laceration on his face and a cut on his lip; the other, 34, had a laceration on his upper lip. The men told police they were friends and did not want to press charges, police said.
