Mt. Kisco Police: Earrings Stolen From Jewelry Store

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y.--A man fled D'Errico Jewelry with $3,375 worth of earrings on Monday, according to Mount Kisco Police.

The suspect came to the store at 159 E. Main Street and was speaking with a salesperson when he allegedly picked up an earring rack from the counter and hid it under his jacket, then fled the store, police said.

The store owners reported the theft at 2:05 p.m. but could only give a sketchy description of the suspect, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Urinating in Public: A 31-year-old Mount Kisco man found urinating in public was taken into custody on Feb. 24, according to police. At 1 a.m., officers observed the man urinating in bushes near an apartment at 222 Main St., police said. He was charged with violating a local law and released on his own recognizance, police said. He was ordered to appear in court on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Loading Ramp Stolen: An aluminum loading ramp worth more than $1,000 was stolen from the loading dock behind a Lexington Avenue building early Monday morning, police said. The ramp's owners, Casa Di Lisio Products, a frozen foods wholesaler at 486 Lexington Ave., discovered the ramp missing around 7:40 a.m. Monday, police said. No suspects have been found, police said, but the investigation is ongoing.
