Northern Westchester Man Stopped For Speeding Charged With Felony DWI

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - A Westchester County man who was stopped for a speeding on Route 9 in Peekskill over the weekend was busted by New York State Police troopers for his second DWI in five years.

On Sunday, state police troopers conducted a traffic stop after 34-year-old Cortlandt resident Sean Culleton was caught speeding on the busy roadway.

During the subsequent investigation, police said it was determined that Culleton was driving while intoxicated, and that he had previously been charged with a felony DWI related to a conviction in 2012.

Culleton was arrested and charged with a felony count of driving while intoxicated. He was also issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the City of Peekskill Court on Thursday, July 6.
