One Killed, One Injured In Mount Kisco House Fire

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — A house fire on St. Marks Place in Mount Kisco Wednesday morning has left one person dead and another injured, according to multiple reports.

An unidentified man who was trapped in the basement was killed, and a woman woman who was injured was taken from the house by stretcher, reports lohud.com.

The victim's name has not been released. News 12 is reporting the man in his 30s.

A second floor neighbor saw smoke on Wednesday and ran outside with his wife and child before calling for help around 8 a.m., according to lohud.com. The fast-moving fire was controlled by 9:30 a.m.

The severity of the injury has not yet been reported by officials.
