Peterson, who is 6-foot-3 and weighs 170 pounds, is wanted on an arrest warrant out of the Town of Fishkill that was issued in April after he used the stolen card at numerous locations, said New York State Trooper Melissa McMorris.

According to McMorris, Peterson used the card two times at the Home Depot in the Village of Wappinger; two times at the Walmart in Fishkill; at the Walgreens in the Town of Poughkeepsie, and the Rite-Aid in the town and City of Poughkeepsie.

The charges stopped once the victim reported the theft to their bank, McMorris said.

McMorris said Peterson may have left the area, but is asking residents to call if they know where he might be.
