Police: Teens Caught Smoking Pot In Dunkin' Donuts Lot

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — Two 18-year-old men from Mount Kisco were discovered smoking marijuana in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot Friday, the Mount Kisco Police Department said.

Around 9:31 p.m., an officer driving by saw the teens passing a marijuana cigarette outside the shop at 681 Main St., police said.

Both were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. They were released on their own recognizance and are scheduled to appear Thursday in Mount Kisco Village Court.

The following items also were reported by Mount Kisco police:

Domestic Assault: A 36-year-old Bedford Hills man was charged with third-degree domestic assault, a misdemeanor, on Thursday, Jan. 10, police said. The call came in around 12:44 a.m., and the man was arrested at 33 West St. in Mount Kisco, police said. No court information was immediately available.

DWI: A 28-year-old Mount Kisco man was charged Friday, Jan. 11, with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. The man was pulled over on Lexington Avenue around 1:10 a.m. during a routine traffic stop, police said. The patrolling officer detected signs of intoxication and took the man to the Mount Kisco police station for processing, police said. No court information was immediately available.

Hit and Run: A parked car was struck by a hit-and-run driver over the weekend, police said. Around 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, the owner of the parked car discovered the damage. The car was parked outside 62 Maple Ave., police said.
