Swiped Jewelry, Burglarized Business Top Mount Kisco Police Reports

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- A woman who lives on Mount Kisco's Brentwood Court reported on Tuesday, Sept. 7 that jewelry worth $2,225 was missing from her residence, Westchester County Police announced.

The woman told police that she last saw the jewelry in July, before contractors hired by her father did renovation work on her residence. Police advised the woman to compile a list of contractors who performed the works; county police detectives are now working on the woman's case.

Other Reports Issued By Westchester County Police Include:

  • A report on Wednesday, Sept. 8 by a woman who says that her rolex watch was swiped from her home and replaced with a counterfeit version. Police said that the woman, who reported the matter at the Green Street precinct station, added that she was going through a divorce with her husband and suspects that he could be the culprit.
  • On Tuesday, Sept. 6, the owner of a restaurant, which is on Lexington Avenue, told police that his establishment was burglarized during the previous night and that a point-of-sale terminal was stolen.
  • On Wednesday, Sept. 8, a woman reported that her cell phone was missing after she left a village parking lot behind the Green Street firehouse. Police said that the woman reported leaving her phone on the roof of her vehicle and driving off, before realizing that she did not possess it later on.The woman could not find her phone once she returned to the parking lot, police added.
  • On Tuesday, Sept. 6, a business located on Kisco Avenue reported an abandoned car being found in its parking lot. Police determined that the car had been stolen and was from Allentown, PA. Police added that the car has been impounded.
