MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Three men have pleaded guilty in connection with the July 2015 beating death of Mount Kisco day laborer Jose Reyes Sanchez, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's office.

The defendants are 36-year-old Fredy Coronado Mendez Depaz, who pleaded guilty to a felony level count of second-degree manslaughter; his brother, 21-year-old Mario David Coronado Depaz, who also pleaded guilty to a felony level count of second-degree manslaughter; and 36-year-old Milton Aviel Ventura, who pleaded guilty to a felony level count of third-degree robbery.

The Depaz brothers are accused of having beaten Reyes Sanchez to death on either July 4 or July 5, 2015, the District Attorney's office said.

"The victim, a homeless day laborer was repeatedly punched, kicked and beaten with a tree branch," the office added.

The beating took place in Mount Kisco, specifically in the area of Lexington Avenue and Lieto Drive, according to the prosecution.

All three of the defendants have resided in Mount Kisco.

Milton Aviel Ventura and Mario David Coronado Depaz "forcibly stole" Reyes Sanchez's wrist watch prior to the attack, the District Attorney's office stated.

Mario David Coronado Depaz has a sentencing date of Feb. 23, 2017, while Fredy Coronado Mendez Depaz has a date of April 15, 2017. Milton Aviel Ventura has been sentenced to time served, the District Attorney's office added.
