Traffic Dispute Turning Physical Tops Mount Kisco Police Blotter

Westchester County Police intervention was recently required when two men engaged in a physical dispute after being involved in a traffic incident in Mount Kisco.

An officer on patrol near the intersection of Main Street and Carpenter Avenue shortly after 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 7 observed two groups of men who were engaged in a traffic dispute in the area.

According to police, one man got out of his vehicle to confront the other, alleging that he was being tailgated. The officer was able to separate both parties and the scene was cleared without further incident.

Other items on the Mount Kisco police blotter from Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 8 include:

  • Westchester County Police officers responded to a car dealership on Kisco Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, where there was a report that several license plates were missing from the dealership. Police said that it was unclear how long the plates have been missing, and is currently under investigation.
  • A Mount Kisco man was issued an open container summons shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 8, following reports of a suspect who was drinking a beer in a parking lot in the 100 block of East Main Street. The an was subsequently escorted from the property without incident.
