Westchester Man Pulls Out Clump Of Victim's Hair In Assault, Police Say

A Westchester man was arrested after dragging and pulling a clump of hair out of a victim's head during a domestic dispute at a New Canaan, Conn., home late Sunday, police said.

Officers were dispatched at 9 p.m. Sunday to a home on Heritage Hill Road on a report of a dispute, police said. 

An investigation determined that Christopher Johnson, 49, of Hartsdale had assaulted the victim, pulling out a clump of hair while dragging the victim, police said.

Johnson was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. 

He was released on $500 bond for a court appearance on Aug. 28.
