Coldwell Banker Expands With Acquisition Of Ridgefield Realty Group

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced Thursday it has acquired the assets of Ridgefield Realty Group Inc. in Ridgefield, which did business as Century 21 Landmark Properties.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, a leading residential real estate brokerage company in Connecticut and Westchester County, is part of NRT LLC, the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage company.

John Baldaserini and John Frey, both former co-owners of Ridgefield Realty Group, will join Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in a sales capacity. The single sales office, located at 398 Main St. in Ridgefield, will now operate as Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

This acquisition follows three recent acquisitions by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Fairfield County.

Baldaserini is a 40-year veteran of marketing real estate and served as president of the Ridgefield Board of Realtors five times and was named Realtor of the Year three times.

Frey is serving his eighth term in the Connecticut House of Representatives and is a former chairman of the Connecticut Real Estate Commission. In 2009, he was named Realtor of the Year by the Ridgefield Board of Realtors.
