Cummins, a resident of Mahopac, will be responsible for the oversight of approximately 30 real estate salespeople serving Bedford, Armonk, Chappaqua, Mount Kisco, North Salem, and South Salem.
Prior to her appointment, Cummins served as director of sales for the Katonah office of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
“Diane has extensive experience in residential real estate, and I am very pleased to welcome her to our management team. Her deep knowledge of the Westchester County marketplace and her management expertise will greatly benefit the Bedford office,” said Cathleen F. With nearly 30 years of experience, Cummins has served as an associate broker and in management positions, overseeing real estate professionals and strategically assisting them with their business plans and goals.
Throughout her career, Cummins has been active with the local Realtor boards and Multiple Listing Service. Most recently, she served as 2014 president of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, president-elect of the association in 2013, and as vice president of the association’s executive board in 2012 and 2011.
Cummins was also the National Association of Realtors’ president’s liaison to Bulgaria, and served an additional two years as representative of the cooperating association of Bulgaria. In those positions, Cummins provided training and mentoring to the Realtors of Bulgaria.
A past recipient of the President’s Award from the former Putnam County Association of Realtors, Cummins was also honored as the Realtor of the Year by the association in 2005, 2002, and 2000.
Cummins has completed educational courses to earn several designations including Certified International Property Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative and Graduate of the Real Estate Institute. She is a certified instructor for the New York State Association of Realtors and a trained mediator for the National Association of Realtors.
Prior to her real estate career, Cummins was a talent agent who represented actors in film, television and theatre. Cummins attended Los Angeles City College and Hollywood Professional School.
