Pace To Host September 11th Reflection And Discussion Next Week

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pace Univeristy will be hosting a discussion next Thursday, Sep. 10th remembering the tragic events on September 11th, 2001, and examining their effect of the university's Manhattan and Pleasantville campuses.

Pace will host a discussion and reflection on the lives lost in the Sep. 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, next week on the Pleasantville campus.

Ellen Sowchek, the Pace Univeristy Archivist, will be giving a presentation describing the events as they took place, and the school's response in the aftermath of the attacks. 

Pace's Manhattan campus is located 4 blocks from Ground Zero, and lost 4 students and 40 alumni in the attacks. To hear Pace faculty and staff give their own accounts of the attacks, a 10 year memorial video can be found here.

The discussion will be held from 3:25 to 4:25 in the Mortola Library on the Pleasantville campus.
