The individual is the fourth accuser to emerge; three are taking part in a lawsuit filed recently against Schraufnagel and the district. Schraufnagel, who worked as a drama teacher at Greeley from 2003 until his resignation last fall, is also the subject of a criminal sex-abuse case.

The latest request alleges that the student was "forced to endure constant requests" by Schraufnagel to display his genitals and send naked pictures, and accuses the former teacher of inappropriately rubbing against him.

Schraufnagel, the petition alleges, also got the student to participate in a game called "Sick Secret Santa," where students were encouraged to give "the most outrageous gifts." As a result, the document claims, the student received a bottle of sperm.

The request, which was filed on May 27 in state supreme court, seeks court approval to serve a notice of claim on the parties. A notice of claim is needed under state law in order to move forward with litigation against governmental entities, such as school districts.

The document notes that Schraufnagel's former male student, identified in the petition as "Anonymous Student #4," was a ninth grader at Greeley in 2011 and enrolled in his drama class the following year.

The petition, which notes that a 90-day window for serving a notice of claim has expired, is seeking an exemption from the limit. The request adds that there is a one-year and 90-day statute of limitations for commencing action.

The fourth student is being represented by attorney David Engelsher, who is representing the three original plaintiffs.
