Former Westchester Lacrosse Top Scorer Nick Mariano Transfers To Syracuse

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Former Yorktown High School star Nick Mariano, who emerged as one of the leading offensive weapons in college lacrosse in his two seasons at the University of Massachusetts, will spend his final two seasons of eligibility at Syracuse University.

The former Yorktown High School (NY) All-America was Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Year in 2014 and led UMass in scoring with 42 points in 2015.

The former Hudson Valley All-American is No. 6 on Yorktown's all-time scoring list with 176 goals, 82 assists and 268 points.
