Old Rivals Mix It Up As Fox Lane Beats Yorktown

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A couple of old sparring partners got together for a reunion Wednesday evening, as the Fox Lane High School boys basketball team traveled to take on Yorktown on Senior Night.

During a pre-game ceremony, Yorktown's senior players were recognized for their accomplishments, and greeted by parents and family members.

On the court, Yorktown kept the game close for the first half, but a strong Fox Lane team pulled away in the second half, en route to a 56-37 victory.

Matt Redhead had 16 points and 11 rebounds and five assists for the Foxes. Alex Olsen added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Foxes lifted their season mark to 12-2. Yorktown, also having a good season, fell to 9-6.
