More than a dozen Horace Greeley athletic teams will be participating in the 4th annual Greeley All-Athlete Walkathon on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m at the Horace Greeley High School Competition Field. The event is in honor of Gardner Marks, a Greeley graduate, who lost his life to cancer. This year's walk is also honoring Casey Taub, a Greeley student who succumbed to brain cancer.

This year's walk will raise funds for two Chappaqua non-profits, the Gardner Marks Foundation, which raises money toward helping families in need of financial support, logistics, and mental health and The Making Headway Foundation, which provides care and comfort for kids with brain and spinal cord tumors while funding medical research geared toward better treatments and a cure.
