MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Northern Westchester Hospital's annual Teddy Bear clinic and Health Fair returns for children and families to learn about important health and safety lessons on Saturday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at Northern Westchester Hospital.
Children are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal and NWH physicians and nurses will provide your furry friends (stuffed animals) with medical check-ups and demonstrate casting, suturing, IV therapy, x-rays and more.
There will be games, health snacks, germbusters and hand hygiene activities. Participants can spin the wheel of nutrition and learn tips on good nutrition and exercise. Participants will also have the opportunity to tour an ambulance and visit with local police for bike safety information.
