Village Board of Trustees Meeting : 7:30 p.m. Village Hall, 104 E Main St., Mount Kisco.

Tuesday, Aug. 14

Free Reading Screening: All day. Come to the Learning Resource Center for a free 30-minute reading evaluation with Laura Rice, a state-certified reading specialist. The center specializes in helping children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and ADD. Screenings also will be available on Wednesday and Thursday. Learning Resource Center, 91 Smith Ave., Mount Kisco.

Zumba With JB : 7:30 p.m. Burn up to 800 calories an hour while doing Zumba with instructor Jen Berger (JB). Fitness craze Zumba combines international rhythms and basic fitness steps. Cost is $10 per hourlong class. The Edge of Dance, 272 N. Bedford Road, Mount Kisco.

Wednesday, Aug. 15

Mount Kisco Rotary Club Meeting: Noon. The club's weekly meeting is held every Wednesday at noon. Holiday Inn, 1 Holiday Inn Drive, Mount Kisco.

Thursday, Aug. 16

"Dream Big!" Concert: 6 p.m. National award-winning guitarist Patricia Shih performs at this free musical event for families. Through music, movement and games, Shih will lead children through exploring "Big Ideas" like cooperation, sharing and love of books. Mount Kisco Public Library, 100 E. Main St., Mount Kisco.
