A registered sex offender who was convicted of having sexual contact and deviate intercourse with two girls under the age of 12 has reported a move into Westchester County.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 56-year-old Dwight Dorsey, who has moved from out of state to a residence on Barker Street in Mount Kisco.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Dorsey as a Level 2 threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Dorsey had deviate sexual intercourse and sexual contact with a 7 and 11-year-old girl in June 1994 in Putnam County.

He was convicted of first-degree attempted sodomy and sexual abuse in August 1998, when he was sentenced to a term of 28 months to seven years in state prison. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Mount Kisco Village Police Department.

Further info on Dorsey from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services can be accessed after entering the code in the CAPTCHA box found by clicking here.
