MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- An unidentified female driver suffered minor injuries Saturday when her car slammed into a utility pole on Maple Avenue in Mount Kisco.

The crash, which occurred just before noon, snapped the pole and brought down some wires, resulting in power outages in the area.

As of 3:30 p.m., Con Ed is reporting 50 customers in Mount Kisco without power.
