MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Here are some of the top stories from this week in Mount Kisco.

  • The economic recession has claimed another victim as The Farm, a grocery store on South Moger Avenue in Mount Kisco, announced last week it is closing, effective Aug. 31 , after being in business for more than 25 years. The store, a popular destination for Mount Kisco residents and also those from Pleasantville, Chappaqua and Bedford, has stopped ordering inventory.
  • Westchester residents are saying "Opa!" at a new Greek restaurant in Mount Kisco. Taverna Pandesia recently opened at 36 E. Main St. The restaurant promises authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine for the whole family.
  • From being a ranked professional tennis player, a restaurateur and an inventor, Mount Kisco's Lisa Dodson has done it all. Growing up in Chappaqua and attending Horace Greeley High School, she is the only Westchester County athlete to be named All-County in four different varsity sports. She recently moved back to Mount Kisco from California and is working as a tennis pro at the Saw Mill Club.
