"Whether you are a beginner or an 'old master,' we'd like to showcase your art work and celebrate your talent with the entire community," said Laura Craig, owner of the 293 Lexington Avenue art studio.

The studio, which offers classes for adults and children, is calling for artists submissions for a June show, which will not be juried. The showcase, which will open on June 22, will run through the end of the month.

Local artists, aged 18 and up, are invited to submit up to two pieces of original art in any medium, except for video and computer-aided design.  Two-dimensional art should be framed or matted, up to 36" x 48".  Three-dimensional work should have a footprint of no more than 2' x 2', be stable, and should not pose any safety risk.

To submit, please email photos of the work by June 8th to irrelevantelephantartstudio@gmail.com. Include name and contact info, and the title and size of the art. Irrelevant Elephant will reply with an artist's release to be signed.   Irrelevant Elephant reserves the right of refusal and to limit the number of submissions, if necessary.
