Skateboarder Recovering After Being Hit By SUV In Bedford Hills

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- A skateboarder is in serious but stable condition after being hit by an SUV in Bedford Hills last night, according to News 12 Westchester.

The victim had just left work at a nearby McDonald's when hit by the SUV on Bedford Road between Woodland Road and Shady Brook Lane, News 12 Westchester reported.

Police had the road closed for nearly two hours as they investigated the accident, according to News 12 Westchester.

The teen is expected to recover from his injuries, News 12 Westchester said.
