Mahopac HS Grad, 24, Dies From Complications Of Pneumonia

Anthony Ralph DeCesare of Mahopac died unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 4 from complications of pneumonia. He was 24.

He was a graduate of Mahopac High School and a manager in the family business D&D Traffic Control.  He loved traveling with his friends and family, boating, skiing, fishing with Uncle Danny, driving, and racing remote-controlled cars.

He was born on March 19, 1993 in Carmel, the son of Ralph and Deborah (Impieri) DeCesare.

Anthony is also survived sisters Valerie and Angela, maternal grandparents Daniel and Rose Impieri, paternal grandmother Jean DeCesare, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Ralph E. DeCesare.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Friday, Dec. 8 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. at St. John The Evangelist Church, also in Mahopac. A private cremation will follow.
