Breaking News: School Bus Crashes With Car In Westchester

Ralph Corsaro, 92, Mount Kisco Paving Contractor

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – Ralph Corsaro, a former Hartsdale resident, died Aug. 24 at his home in Mount Kisco after a long illness, surrounded by family. He was 92.

He was born July 19, 1920, to Luigi and Alfonsina Strianese Corsaro. He married Carmella DeMatteo on Feb. 1, 1941, and served in the Army from 1944 to 1945. Corsaro was the owner of Arrow Blacktop, a paving and construction business, for 40 years before retiring in 1992.

Corsaro is survived by four children Maria (Larry) Milton, of Cross River, Lucille (Anthony) Pitaro of Mount Kisco, Donna (James) Spad, of New Fairfield, Conn., and Louis (SallyAnne) Corsaro, of South Salem; and 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and his caregiver, Nina Figueroa. He was predeceased by his wife, Carmella.

Visiting hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John and St. Mary Church in Chappaqua. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
