MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – Mount Kisco Police officers were investigating a suspicious incident involving a female child and an unidentified adult male that occurred Wednesday night, police said Friday.
A 10-year old girl told investigators that at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, she was approached on the grounds of 77 Kensico Drive by a man who told her that her mother had been in a car accident and he had come to pick her up, police said.
The child, suspicious of the man’s statement, retreated inside without further interaction with the suspect, police said. According to the child, the man drove a black-colored four-door car, police said.
He was described as a white male more than 6 feet tall with dark eyes and a deep voice and wearing dark clothing, including a hoodie-style jacket, police said.
