MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – Due to a traffic accident, a utility pole near West Main Street and Route 133 at Rutland Street has been damaged and will need replacing, Mount Kisco Police said in an alert sent out Thursday afternoon.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area, which is in proximity to the Mount Kisco-New Castle Town line.
Due to Con-Ed responding to the scene for maintenance, rush hour traffic is expected to be disrupted in both easterly and westerly directions, as West Main Street and Route 133 in Mount Kisco will be subject to brief closures, police said.
Police advise seeking an alternate route of travel.
