“It is one thing to make promises every two years, it is another thing entirely to deliver results," said Ball.
"Working with Governor Cuomo, in a bipartisan way, I have delivered. In just two years we have repealed the MTA payroll tax, capped property taxes and cut income taxes across the board,” said the senator.
Ball, 35, of Patterson,ran on the Republican, Conservative and Independence tickets. Ball has held public office since 2006, when he was elected to the New York State Assembly's 99th District.
Wagner, 31, of Croton ran on the Democrat, Working Families Party and Green Party tickets.
The newly redrawn 40th State Senate District includes Peekskill, Cortlandt, Yorktown, Somers, New Castle, North Salem, Lewisboro, Pound Ridge and parts of Putnam and Dutchess counties.
