Separate I-84 Ramp Closures Scheduled

There will be ramp closures on I-84 for several days in the Hudson Valley.

The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert cautioning that beginning on Monday, Sept. 17, there wlll be ramp closures on the interstate in Putnam and Dutchess counties, as crews perform construction activities in the area.

Each day, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., there will be nightly closures in Southeast on the westbound exit 20S (I-684 South). From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Fishkill, the I-84 exit ramp to exit 12 (Route 52) is scheduled to close. The ramp closures are expected to last through Friday, Sept. 21.

During the construction work, there will be detours posted and flaggers are expected to be in the area to assist with the flow of traffic. Motorists can expect delays during the projects and have been advised to seek alternate routes, when possible.
