MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- The village of Mount Kisco's snow emergency was lifted as of 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Residents are permitted to park their vehicles on the public roadways after 4 p.m. However, cars must be moved by 7 a.m Wednesday to permit the public works department to continue snow removal operations, clearing the parking lanes and roadway curb to curb.
For residents who have parked cars in a municipal lot, the village also asks residents to remove vehicles by midnight Wednesday so that snow removal operations can commence at 4 a.m. and be completed by 7 a.m. when lots will begin to be used.
Vehicles left in the parking lots may be subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
