Hike, Art, Brunch Offered In Lewisboro '1st Day' Celebration
LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- A hike, special brunch offer at a local inn and art gallery reception are in store for Lewisboro's "1st Day Celebration" to welcome 2017 Sunday, Jan. 1.
The Leon Levy Preserve, Route 123, south of Route 35, is from 11 a.m. to noon. No reservations are needed.

Heavenly Productions Foundation Holding Fundraiser In Armonk
ARMONK, N.Y. -- A local charity is holding its annual fundraiser this weekend in Armonk.
Heavenly Productions Foundation, which helps provide support for children in financial need, will hold the fundraiser at Armonk House on Sunday, Dec. 18 from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Among the scheduled guests are News 12 reporter Lisa Salvadorini, who will emcee the event, and Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

KATONAH, N.Y. -- "Winter Dreaming," the Katonah Historical Museum's holiday exhibit, opened recently and will run Saturdays through Dec. 17, according to organizers.
The exhibit, which kicked off Sunday with a cookie and cider reception, displays a variety of items that "kept the minds and hands of past Katonah residents busy during the long winter months," organizers said, adding that the exhibit will be open from 1-3 p.m. on Dec. 10 and Dec. 17.

BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. – The Bedford-Armonk Rotary Club has opened its Rotary Christmas Tree Sale and, offering Fraser Firs, Balsams and wreaths at "the best prices in town."
The sale, which is taking place at Bedford Hills Memorial Park, 60 Haines Road, is to run on weekends through Dec. 23, according to organizers.
Trees and wreaths can be purchased from 4-7 p.m. on Fridays, and from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, according to organizers.

Try Cookies, Hot Cider At Pound Ridge Church's Holiday Gathering
POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- No time bake holiday cookies? No problem.The women of Pound Ridge Community Church have it covered.
An array of homemade cookies, sold by the pound, will be available Saturday, Dec. 3 at the church Cookie Walk. In addition, there will be pies, cheesecakes, breads and foods-to-go. Live wreaths will also be for sale.
Visitors will be offered hot cider to enjoy browsing and a homemade quilt will be raffled off.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, 3 Pound Ridge Rd., at the intersection of Routes 137/132 in Pound Ridge.
