MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Mount Kisco this week:
- Thirteen Westchester County veterans were announced as inductees into the 40th Senate District's Veterans Hall of Fame by state Sen. Greg Ball, chairman of the Senate Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee.
- A 43-year-old man was hit by a Metro-North train and killed just south of the Hartsdale train station Tuesday morning in an apparent suicide, according to Metro-North Railroad spokeswoman Marjorie Anders
- Somers man found dead on Route 100 near the Muscoot Reservoir on the east side of the road. State Police shut down the road in both directions for 30 minutes in order to investigate.
- A skateboarder is in serious but stable condition after being hit by an SUV in Bedford Hills.
