6-Year-Old Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center Following Crash A 6-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital with severe lacerations following a crash on I-87 in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred around 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 22, on I-87 in Orange County in the town of Newburgh. According to Trooper Tara McCormick of the New York State Police, a preliminary investigation at the scene determined that a 2022 Toyota Tundra was parked on the right shoulder when the driver, Connecticut resident Peter W. Woman Stabbed On Street In Westchester: Police Investigating Authorities are investigating a stabbing that left a woman injured on a Westchester street.  The incident happened on Thursday evening, April 18, when a woman was stabbed in her leg at 35 Cliff St. in Yonkers, according to Yonkers Police Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio. 2-Car Crash Hospitalizes 1, Closes Part Of Busy Hudson Valley Road A two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley sent one person to the hospital and caused a brief closure on a busy roadway. The incident happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, April 17 just before 10 a.m., when two cars collided on Route 6N in Mahopac near Parker Drive, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.  Arriving first responders soon closed Route 6N at the nearest intersections and tended to the drivers' injuries. One driver was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital while the other refused medical attention.
